Editorial policy
How we research, write, verify and correct.
AI-assisted, human-reviewed
We use AI tools to help with research and first drafts. Nothing is published without review, and we don’t publish AI-generated text we haven’t checked.
Sources
Important factual claims are sourced. We prefer official announcements, release notes and documentation, then reputable publications. Sources are listed on each news story and guide.
Dates you can trust
Time-sensitive pages show three dates: Published, Updated and Last verified. Product details such as model names, prices and free-plan limits change often, so we re-check them and update the date. Where we can’t confirm something, we say so instead of guessing.
Corrections
If we get something wrong we fix it and update the “Updated” date. Where the change matters, we note what changed.
Commercial relationships
Affiliate links, if used, are disclosed and never change what we recommend. See the affiliate disclosure.
What we won’t do
- Invent quotes, benchmarks, prices or availability.
- Republish other outlets’ articles.
- Publish reviews of products we haven’t evaluated.
