Define habits in wp-admin, and let logged-in users check in daily or weekly. Streaks are calculated honestly — miss a day and the streak resets, nothing is smoothed over.

Install it like any WordPress plugin: upload the zip via Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin, activate, then drop the shortcode anywhere.
